HPH Foundation...
updates at bottom....
Due to the end of the world as we know it (phase One due BY June 1, 2013), we here at Halfpasthuman (HPH) are working on a new mission.
The mission of Halfpasthuman is now concentrating on
storing knowledge (books), and tools, for post phase One catastrophe use locally and distribution as widely as possible;
providing audio and text discussions over the remaining few months to assist in the education of the general public with intent of providing specific resource links to aid in recovery from the upcoming civilization disruptions;
integrating our recent algorithm changes, and running (if we can) one last report prior to December of 2012 with a focus on the first two quarters of 2013. The intent, as always, will be to provide the report free to those in need.
For the remaining months, bear in mind the Farsight.org 2012 study shows it HAS occurred by June 1, 2013, it will be necessary for you to use ALL your resources to prepare for a world with no electricity (bummer!), and no government (hooray!), and also a solar system STILL in disarray from solar explusions (likely will slowly decrease intensity levels over next decades).....
but if you are rich, which is to say WAAAY more money than you can spend in the short months left, then you can donate to HPH with the assurance that i, clif high, will take personal responsibility for its use toward the goals expressed above. Further, since time is short, i will also take personal responsibility for any donations in so far as any taxing authority existing in 2013.
But remember, if you hesitate, you need the money more than us....listen to universe, eh?
AND noting that this is in no way a legal entity that has tax exempt status or anything like that so who knows if you can 'write off' any donation to us...IF any taxing authority should exist and be in a position to inquire...

Ok, what we are gnawing on at the present time is multi-faceted, but goes to the idea of the formation of a global SOC (self organizing collective) with the intent of extending knowledge into the Next Cycle (our chosen meme symbol) (aka the next '13000 year cycle of humanity on terra').
One of the tastier ideas is to create ceramic tablet forms of 'books'. This perennial favorite now makes a bunch more sense as we have competed a test with a 3d printer. This process is very easy really in that what we are doing is to make 'negative impression' images of the pages of a book, and printing them on a 3d printer in a resin matrix. These negative images are then used (at 3+mm depth of raised letter) to 'impress', ceramic 'tablets'. The tablets themselves are really a fine stoneware slurry that is poured into trays that have also been created with the 3d printer. The image base is locked to the top of the tray, and the slurry is dried. The image base can be reused. The dried slurry is tapped out of the tray and the page image is then vitrified through ordinary ceramic processing. (oh, by the way, the process could be used to create ceramic anythings....such as knives, scissors, any other form of tool with very high degree of precsion without the need for mold machining...)
Now that we have had some success on the ceramic book development, the idea has been proposed to set up a 'plant' to produce a few samples for local distribution, as well as to produce video's on the 'how-to'. This is one of the current goals of our crowdsourcing/SOC funding for the Next Cycle StoneBook Works. We think we have located a site with the proper industrial capcity. Now we are seeking funding for this project. Warning...not a cheap undertaking. Requires lots of continuing funding for lots of electricity and human labor. If you have a few spare millions, we can put them to good use.
Note: on the ceramic books idea, as well as ceramic production via 3d printer molding, please put examples on youtube, or similar service to encourage the other Next Cycle Nutters out there.
Stay tuned ....we will use this page as the start of the idea distribution section of this work. More as it gets chewy.
