reality of duality....

with respect..

A curious thing about duality is that it ALWAYS comes in three parts, not, as we are taught to perceive, two.

The 'thing' of it that bears rememberance is that in a 'duality' we have 'this' and 'that' abstractly. However, we live in a 'real' world (well...ok, a different subject for a different discussion is the unreal nature of reality.....) in which there is, always, persistently, and forever, a 'hidden' aspect that we, as silly humans, seem to constantly be forgetting....the 'me' in the equation.

So, to accurately define duality, we should be thinking of it as 'this', AND 'that', AND 'me', as perceiver, as observer, as experiencer of the 'duality'.

Perhaps a more fluent way to think about duality is as 'this', 'that', and 'this and that being perceived by me'.... a bit dangerous though as it leads to the inevitable series of questions whose answers stairstep us to the realization that the 'best' definition of duality in reality is 'me' perceiving 'me' perceiving 'me being perceived by me'.

A bit of universe gristle for all day chewing.
